The third episode of Sceneries not Songs is "Eternal City" from O.J.A.I. (Office for Joint Administrative Intelligence).
Office for Joint Administrative Intelligence is the collaborative practice of artists Chris Dreier (DE) and Gary Farrelly (IRE/BE). The work is fueled by a recurring obsession with architecture, infrastructure, finance, conspiracy theory and institutional power. O.J.A.I. pursues a strategy of self-institutionalisation where tools and codified rules of engagement are appropriated from economic and political infrastructures. Their monthly radio show is transmitted on Dublin Digital Radio and Cashmere Radio, Berlin. O.J.A.I. has presented work at AAIR Antwerpen, Damien and the Love Guru, Laura Mars Gallery, Grölle Pass Projects, Gold and Beton and Marres House for Contemporary Culture (Maastricht).
"Sceneries not songs" is a radio show exploring sounds as construction materials. The radio show becomes an experiment envisioning possible new collective architectures. "Sceneries not songs" takes inspiration from the homonymous album by the Chicago master Larry Heard. "Sceneries not songs" is curated by Parasite 2.0 and Antropofago Productions.
